Winter Wonderfest fun for all ages at Navy Pier

Winter Wonderfest begins today, December 3, at Navy Pier.  Adults and children alike will find plenty of attractions here to keep them entertained for hours.

You’ll find music, entertainment, indoor ice skating, huge inflatable slides, carnival rides, food, beverages, and much more now through January 2, including a Family New Years Eve Bash from with fireworks at on December 31.

New Attractions at Winter Wonderfest:

Extreme Alpine Dome – simulated slopes for skiers and snowboarders

Glacier Run – fast-paced simulated snowmobile run

Himalaya – action thrill ride

"Power Wheel" Mini Adventure Track presented by Jeep and Dodge – kids can enjoy this mini-car road course in a mini-Jeep "Hurricane" or mini-Dodge "Police Cruiser."

Returning Attractions at Winter Wonderfest:

Chicago Blackhawks Indoor Ice Skating Rink

Extreme Ice Trail Ropes Course - ropes obstacle course stretching 27.5-feet in the air and challenges participants to maneuver their way across beams, staircases and platforms

Ferris wheel – survey all of Winter Wonderfest from the top of this 50 foot ride

Kringle Carousel

Matterhorn Climb & Slide – climb through five levels of webbing before sliding down

Patch's Lighthouse – this ride lifts children 16 feet in the air before gently bringing them back to ground

Pepsi® Create-A-Cookie Cottage

Reindeer Express Train Ride

Winter Wind Glider – hang glider takes riders 40 feet in the air

Slides and Obstacle Courses

Hours for Winter Wonderfest:

December 3-18
Sunday through Thursday: –5pm; Friday and Saturday:

December 19-January 2
Sunday through Thursday: –8pm; Friday and Saturday:

Special Holiday Hours:
Christmas Eve:  Friday, December 24, 10am–5pm; Christmas Day: Saturday, December 25 – CLOSED; New Years Eve: Friday, December 31, 10am–8pm

Tickets:

Admission to Winter Wonderfest is free, but a wristband is required for rides and attractions.  Prices for wristbands range from $10 - $18, depending on whether you attend on a weekday or weekend, whether or not you want to ice skate, and whether you use the online coupon good for certain days.  There are also discounts for purchases of four wristbands, including free parking.  Click here to purchase tickets (to view promotions and discounts, click here). 

You can also save money on parking, because Navy Pier now has reduced parking rates through February 28:
$14 Monday - Thursday before
$18 Friday - Sunday before

$10 after
seven days a week
